聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯（polymethyl methacrylate)，简称PMMA），又称做压克
力、亚克力（英文Acrylic）或有机玻璃、Lucite（商品名称），在台湾称做压加
力，在香港多称做阿加力胶，具有高透明度，低价格，易于机械加工等优点，是平常
经常使用的玻璃替代材料。
PMMA 原料的特性：
无色透明，透光率达90%---92%，韧性强，比硅玻璃大10倍以上。
光学性、绝缘性、加工性及耐候性佳。
溶解于四氯化碳、苯、甲苯二氯乙烷、*和丙酮等有机溶剂。
具有较高透明度和光亮度，耐热性好，并有坚韧，质硬，刚性特点，热变形温度80℃，弯曲强度110Mpa。
密度1.14—1.20g/cc,变形温度76--116℃，成型收缩率0.2—0.8%。
